1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using pingtwice at pingtwice.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these
Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.


2. Description of Service

pingtwice is a vulnerability intelligence platform that aggregates and surfaces CVE (Common
Vulnerabilities and Exposures) data from public sources including the National Vulnerability
Database (NVD), GitHub Advisory Database, OSV, and others. The Service provides monitoring,
alerting, and analysis tools for security practitioners and engineering teams.

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. A free tier with limited features is available.
Paid plans unlock additional functionality as described on the pricing page.


3. Account Registration

To access protected features, you must register using a valid email address. You are responsible
for maintaining access to that email, as it controls your ability to sign in. You may not create
accounts on behalf of others without their explicit consent.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.


4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

- Scrape, crawl, or automate bulk data extraction from the Service without prior written approval
- Attempt to access another user's account or data
- Probe, scan, or test the Service for security vulnerabilities without explicit written authorization
- Submit content that is intentionally false, malicious, or harmful
- Use the Service in a way that degrades its availability or performance for others
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without a written agreement
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws


5. CVE Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Vulnerability data on pingtwice is aggregated from public third-party sources and provided for
informational purposes only. We make no representations or warranties regarding its accuracy,
completeness, or timeliness.

Upstream sources may contain errors, delays, or omissions. EPSS scores, CVSS ratings, affected
version ranges, and exploit indicators are derived from external feeds and may not reflect the
current state of a vulnerability.

Do not rely solely on pingtwice for security-critical decisions. Always verify findings against
official NVD records and vendor advisories before taking remediation action.


6. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis via our payment processor. Pricing is shown on the
upgrade page at the time of purchase. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your
payment method.

You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of
the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except where
required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice sent to your registered email
address.


7. Intellectual Property

The pingtwice platform, including its interface, design, and original content, is owned by
pingtwice and protected by applicable intellectual property law. CVE data from public sources
remains subject to the licenses of those sources.

You retain ownership of content you submit, such as watchlist entries or feedback. By submitting
content, you grant pingtwice a non-exclusive license to use it for the purpose of operating the
Service.


8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data
will be removed within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse
or fraud, or remain inactive for an extended period, with notice where practicable.


9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, pingtwice is not liable for any indirect, incidental,
special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including
decisions made based on vulnerability data provided by the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us
in the twelve months preceding the claim, or 100 EUR, whichever is greater.


10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or
implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or
non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.


11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the jurisdiction in which
pingtwice operates. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also have rights under the laws of
your country of residence.


12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date
above and, for material changes, notify you at your registered email address. Continued use of
the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
